The best thing about following the minors this year is the number of quality prospects in Low-A and High-A. I can't wait to see them in the majors next year.
I wonder if the AA-ball carousel is making Nate Schierholtz work harder, or if he's about to mail a dead pigeon to the Giants' front office.

Evan makes an excellent point.
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

Why is Nate still in the minors?
I think he’d be a great fit at 3B.

We've established he can't play 3B
He should be playing shortstop, obviously.

Quit fooling around
We all know that he’s a RF who can play CF if needed…or 1B if called up to the majors…or C if we pinch hit for our starting catcher and our backup gets ejected or injured.
Delaying the disappointment: I adopt Hector Sanchez because he's only 17.

Obviously
Denker isn’t playing – he’ll learn so much more sitting on the bench in the majors than regularly adding to his total of 51 ABs in AAA.

No..
Actually the newscasters here have some talent. Mostly they come to stations in the Midwest to get some experience and then move on to a bigger market/role. Usually the newscasters I’m told are here for 2-3 years and move on.

if you can, watch the game in one browser, then open gameday audio in a different browser. They don’t sync up perfectly, but it’s close enough, and you get to listen to Jon instead of these idiots.
