Phillies-Giants

Living on the east coast, i get to see my giants fwe times a year. When i do see them, im immersed in a hostile environment, like Phila. The fans are rude and simply uneducated. They berate you constantly. So this year since the Giants might win, i produced a sign...

Gas $50

Tickets $60

Seeing another Ryan Howard K at then hands of a Giants pitcher priceless.

I ask you guys for better ideas, so post frequently...

Sunday is Tim vs. Cole Hamels, almost a year to the day of Tim’s first ML start where he faced Hamels. That’s not an idea for a sign, it’s just sort of cool.

"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

You should definitely work Pedro Feliz in there somehow

Something about Phillie taking SF’s sloppy seconds. Or something.

Seeing Pedro Feliz gak for the Phillies instead of the Giants: Priceless

Feliz' crapitude

These comments made me glance at Feliz’ numbers this season… holy moly. The man is on pace to ground into FORTY-FIVE double plays. That is truly spectacular.

Wow, that would almost double A.J. Pierzynski’s historic total.

anybody going to Sunday's game?

I’m toying with the idea of going down to Philly for Sunday’s game. (I’m in NYC and would probably do the Chinatown bus thing and buy tickets at the park.) Anyone else planning on being there and possibly meeting up for a beer before or after?

I'll be there tonight; good seats, too.

I live right outside Philly, so this is my only shot to see them live since I never feel like driving to New York or Pittsburgh.

My wife is a big Phillies fan, so either way it should be a fun, slightly awkward drive home.

Ah, spring.

Ryan ain't dyin'

Ryan Howard just CRUSHED the home run he hit off Tim Lincecum in Tim’s debut on Willie Mays’ 76th birthday. Of course, Tim is mixing up his pitches much better now than Bengie had him doing that day.

I don’t see why the Phillies don’t just trade Ryan to the Giants for something like the former rights to Scott Munter. I think the Giants would even be willing to throw in the former rights to Randy Messenger.

but

Randy is pitching for Fresno! How about the rights to JR Phillips? (sorry, JR)

I just want to take this opportunity to say that I hate the Phillies’ yard. Perhaps a sign referencing the pop fly home runs is in order?
