Alex Hinshaw
I would love if one of our resident prospect experts could give some insight into Alex Hinshaw. He was an after thought in Baseball America's Propsect Handbook but has put up some excellent numbers in relief the last two years.
What little I have seen I am impressed but clearly he's not going to become the next Johan Santana either - what is a realistic expectation?
BTW, and clearly I'm just trying to get to 75 words but I am kinda of excited about our young bullpen.

all i know
is that he missed quite a bit of time last year and i havent seen anyone able to tell us why….
I did a brief interview with him on SF Dugout recently, where he talks about his role with the Giants.
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

I admit I'm not the best informed
but he was putting up comical numbers in Fresno, where all pitchers allegedly go to blow out their arms and their ERAs. I was struck by his Fresno numbers when they talked about them during his first SF appearance. So, here’s to promoting someone who does well in Fresno, rather than advising them to take out 30-year mortgages on homes in Clovis (Or wherever the Grizz lifers live out their careers).

Possible with how Walker has struggled lately but first Bochy would have to get past his matchupitis.
He did frequently bring Taschner in to face RH or start innings with RH even when Jack was the only lefty in the bullpen, thus destroying any ability to play matchups. Maybe it doesn’t matter so much to him in handling his pitchers as it does in handling his hitters?
My boy ain't fat, he's just big boned. Big bat, too.
