Yes he did.

I was in sec 121 perfect for watching him pitch and when that happened the first time, my jaw dropped. Al;l I could think of was he needs to get out of this inning, he’s done. But he went one more, but it was definitely a struggle for him.

To extrapolate

Molina is an extreme DP risk, and while he doesn’t strike out often I belive Lewis is reasonably likely to make hard contact somewhere out of the infield.

Also, it is a 1 out situation so it’s not all or nothing.

And now you have removed your left fielder as well as your PH options n the 9th
