I don’t really get why anyone cares. Emotions run high during ballgames. Get over it. Giants pitchers have done fist pumps after getting Ks before and no one got angry at them.

It’s understandable when the play is made in a dire situation (i.e. Matthew Cain with the glove punch). Not when you get and out in a blowout game

I just can’t bring myself to get angry about it. If you don’t want him to fist pump or you don’t want a hitter to flip his bat after hitting a homer, then don’t strike out or don’t give up a jack.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never watched him pitch a game (been unable to watch any games at all since he came up). But I’ve never gotten all that bent out of shape over Carlos Zambrano and I doubt I’ll care all that much about Joba.

Zambrano is just good, plus he’s established. Can’t hate the guy.

When I was in yankee stadium last week
Jabba came in and the fans went nuts. I really enjoyed all the Star Wars stuff that flashed around the stadium, when he came in. The when Mariano Rivera came in to Enter Sandman, and the lyrics were put up on the big screen I got pretty pumped again.
Star War and Metallica fandom. My inner-14 year old me loves that stuff

Went to a Lynchburg Hillcats game last week...
They actually did play The Final Countdown at the end of the game. It was sweet.
Not sweet enough to make up for the 8-1 loss to the Winston-Salem Warthogs, though.
I can't wait for May to come around - then I won't be teased for being a Giants fan anymore. I swear these Virginians don't know what they're talking about.
