The Cat. Coincidentally my dad’s favorite cartoon.

I don't necessarily hate him

I’m not a huge fan. But don’t hate him.

He’s real good, though

so

you hate barry too? Not exactly the same, but both have lost considerable talent..

I love Barry. LOVE. But Barry was always presented as this surly bastard while Griffey was the smiling face of MLB, while playing in that bandbox Kingdome, hitting more HR than Bonds (during the 90s, at least), and Griffey was perceived as the better hitter as a result, when in fact that wasn’t true.

Then Griffey gets a pass for becoming the petulant, surly guy that eventually came out, while Bonds was continually demonized.

Griffey has also lost considerably more talent than Bonds has.

That all souns about right

I felt his injuries was a tragedy, he was good.

by WilliamVanLandingham on May 14, 2008 9:45 PM PDT up reply actions

What really kills me about that inning

Is Randy Winn, with the .506 OPS with runners on base.

That’s not very good for a #3 hitter.

That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!

by tobias on May 14, 2008 9:44 PM PDT reply actions

NEWS FLASH

Winn: not a very good #3 hitter

by bondslegend on May 14, 2008 9:45 PM PDT up reply actions

alright, who should be hitting third?

by WilliamVanLandingham on May 14, 2008 9:46 PM PDT up reply actions

Hey

I never said he wasn’t the best option. But the best option on this team still= not very good

by bondslegend on May 14, 2008 9:46 PM PDT up reply actions

I mean, Miller just spent the last couple minutes talking about Carlos Quentin

and how the White Sox got him for next to nothing. Where was Sabean when guys like this were available? Quentin has 10 HRs.

Very weird and pointless

but right now in the Jazz/Lakers game, ever single player on the court is white. Both teams. 10 white guys.

I don’t thin I have ever seen that before.

Why does it seem that the Giants confine their scoring to just one inning? Don’t you suppose they’d have a better outcome if they scored in another inning or two during a game?
