Raj Davis - 2B for the A's?
Ok, I just saw in the chronicle that Raj has been taking grounders at 2B since Ellis got hurt. It also says he was drafted as a 2B and then quoted him as saying he was comfortable there and felt natural.
Am I wrong in being a little burnt about hearing that?
That could've have easily been as good of experiment as the Velez at 2B fail.
Anyway, enjoy my first FanPost. I needed just a few more words...

Beane
Is just trying to rub it in Sabean’s face.
Velez is not yet a Fail @ 2b. Way too premature for that.

Beane trying to rub it in?
Other than the other obvious reasons that your theorey isn’t true, he simply can’t afford to make personnel decisions based on a “grudge”, which is what I understood you to be saying.
Maybe he’s just working on them as an emergency option.

We've clearly covered he can't play 3rd...
I think we said he can’t convert to SS as well. But 2nd is open for discussion! DING DING

was not yet left-handed when he was in utero. Perhaps he could take over behind the plate when Molina’s contract is up.

Your subject and your username are a perfect combination. I have this feeling we’ll regret letting Davis go so easily.

But...
Raj proved his worth over the last half of last season and it was aplmost criminal to let him gowhen just a few weeks later bowker & velez, 2 of the reasons the giants felt they could DFA raj, are scarcely playing in the outfield anyway. Orty is the only player who gets regular backup OF duties

It's probably a wash...
...which slappy hitting, fast running, defensively questionable rookie you experiment with at 2B. So I can’t really get worked up over them picking the one who’d played second before over the one who hadn’t.

Rajai Davis is to second base as Pedro Feliz is to catcher.
Just because he has experience there doesn’t mean he’s any good, which is why he was moved off the position in the first place. This is commonly referred to as “Schierholtz Syndrome.”
Davis is to second base as Pedro Feliz is to catcher. An emergency backup.

I think what you're trying to say is...
That Pedro Feliz playing catcher is how Rajai Davis would play second? I may be wrong..

Baseball makes everything easier to understand. Absolutely no lie.
Well we at least know that Welapidation is a noun, because Snorfilicious and Porvanous are adjectives. The next step: determining how one welapitades.
