You mean like during their, um, "role play"?
Because if you do, I would guess the other way around.

Shouldn't be.
Error on Yabu.
The Basil Fawlty Moderating Strategy:
"We could run a nice blog here if we didn't have all these members getting in the way."
error on yabu for the throw by bowker
but then Velez fielded it and airmailed it over Bengie’s head
by ExcuseMeSwing on May 12, 2008 9:40 PM PDT up reply actions
who made the second throw? Because a runner advanced on that foolishness.
you can't block the Bocock
Oh perhaps a runner advanced and that would be charged to Velez...
But the runner would have scored whether Velez overthrew Bengie or not. Yabu should get the 2 run error.
The Basil Fawlty Moderating Strategy:
"We could run a nice blog here if we didn't have all these members getting in the way."
That's what Gameday says.
2 runs scored on Yabu’s pickoff error.
Runner advanced on Velez’s throwing error.
But how did it happen? I only have Gameday to follow.
by withclubsauce on May 12, 2008 9:42 PM PDT up reply actions
the replay showed that while Yabu was off the rubber, he made a subtle motion to Bowker with his glove. John must not have seen it because he barely had a chance to flinch when Keichi threw over. Ball went sailing by, Velez chased it down and then chucked a ball that damn near went into the Giants dugout.
by ExcuseMeSwing on May 12, 2008 9:44 PM PDT up reply actions
Whole story..
Yabu was trying to make a trick pickoff with Bowker. He tried signlaling to Bowker to move over to first to get the throw but Bowker didn’t so it was thrown down the line. Two runs were coming around and Velez got to it first and threw to Molina and it was high.
The Basil Fawlty Moderating Strategy:
"We could run a nice blog here if we didn't have all these members getting in the way."
So everybody in the real - and virtual - worlds saw Yabu's motion
except JB?

On Comcast On Demand, they have the game from 1989 where the Giants came back from 8-0 to win it in the 9th. I watched it this afternoon. I’m not expecting anything like that happening again, but it’d be nice.
i'd be a lot more optimistic
if i knew Will Clark and Kevin Mitchell were due up this inning
