Dear god please stop running

FIRE BRIAN SABEAN

by zenbitz on Apr 9, 2008 9:11 PM PDT reply actions

Why?

It would just be a double play otherwise. If you don't have anyone that can hit - you need to run. If you run, sometimes you get thrown out.

Eugeniooooooo!!!!

by FairweatherFan on Apr 9, 2008 9:13 PM PDT up reply actions

Wrong.
Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong wrong, WRONG.

Running is fine. Getting caught is terrible.

They have 10 steals and 4 CS (including pick offs).. that's bad. Now, I admit I must have selective memory, because I remember the outs way more. But 71% or whatever is not really helping - even if your team is slugging .300.

OR

Trade him while his value is high for something we can use to build. It's going to be a long couple years watching Sanchez, Cain, and Lincecum go 7 scoreless and get the L.
