At least Bochy listened to me when I said a platoon of first baseman that both hit lefties better made no sense. He got them both in the lineup tonight. The lineup is still stupid anyway, because it has the name Durham in it instead of Velez.

Bochy said Timpner was going to be called up. Flemming just said they don't know if the move was official yet so probably still figuring out who to call up. Also said that it might be a slew of moves all to take place at once to shuffle a few players around.

As to why they recalled the AAA outfielder they did (I'm drawing a blank on his name) - we called him up because he's a center fielder and can spell Rowand if he's still hurting.
