Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Best. Game. Ever.

You might have already seen this on Fark or Digg, but it's worth the re-post. The social improv group Improv Everywhere decided to crash a little league game with a ton of people and try to make it seem like a real sporting event. Tons of fans...broadcasters...you'll see. The kids look floored, and towards the end the coaches are wondering what the hell is going on. Worth a view.

I thought this would be about this game, but that's really cool.

I thought..

It would be about this game. Thought the same thing when it was posted on Minor League Ball as well.

At least that's the best Giants game ever. I wish they did that when I was a kid. All I ever got was airheads at a game...

If I had a time machine

This would be my first stop. I can't tell you how many times I've imagined the tension in that ballpark as the game went on. How many time would you have glanced down at the bullpen, seeing if anyone was warming up? How many PH senarios would unfold in your head and the game got into the 13th, 14th and 15th?

How fitting that Willie Mays ended up winning that. Too bad there is no game film on that one. Even knowing the result, I would watch that one over and over.

I'm so wary of being Rick Roll'd again I almost didn't click the link. Glad I did, that was fun.
