Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

Ok, this is too funny

Remember Cody Ransom?

"Aside from Betemit and A-Rod, there’s not another person on the Yankees’ active roster who can play shortstop. They could call up rookie Alberto Gonzalez, who is on the team’s 40-man roster, or Cody Ransom, who would require a roster move but bring more experience. Or, of course, they could put A-Rod at short and use Morgan Ensberg, a natural third baseman, to fill in."

Now that would be hilarious to see him starting at SS for the Yanks.

It could be possible, I read somewhere that he was impressing the Yankees in ST.

And he would still be a defensive upgrade over Jetet, no matter how many balls gonk off his glove.

Don't laugh

He'd probably be an average hitter on the Giants.

Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue...

If they don't put A-Rod back at short, you gotta wonder what's up.

No, really, I have updated my blog this year: http://skaldheim.livejournal.com/tag/baseball

Jetes might cry and you can't have a YANKEE LEGEND crying.

oh man

wouldn't it be awesome to see A-rod play SS better than Jeter ever has. It'd be brilliant.

That's what i never got about Yankees fans calling A-Rod selfish. He moved off his natural position because an inferior player was entrenched in it. he then put on more muscle mass and worked on his power game so he could maximize his production at his new position. Yankees fans are the absolute dumbest sacks of shit around.

/end rant.

i heard Jeters tears cure cancer.

I sure wish that Ort Cloud would form a solid sphere to enter into this team's orbit.

Perfect

Lets make Va-Jeter start whimpering as soon as possible. Its enjoyment for the whole family (outside of one city and Joe Morgan) plus we do some good things with the tears!

I'm not so sure about this new layout.......

The Yankees started Wilson Betemit at SS yesterday, to my knowledge he probably isn't a good defender at SS.

only way this happens is if steinbrenner retakes full dictatorial control of the team, alzheimers and all

"he walked 18; new league record! Struck out 18, another new league record! He also hit the sportswriter, the PA announcer, the bull mascot twice..."

Remember

It was Ransom who had to give up his jersey so Billy Crystal could take his hacks in that spring training game.

Adoptive papa to Omar...so basically I'm screwed.

Remember Cody Ransom turning a double play into an error, leading to Wayne Franklin (who also caught on with the Yankees for a time) to give up a season ending grand slam to Steve Finley? Just thought I'd add even more pain to this lousy season.

No. No, I don't remember that. I disremember it.

My brain runs away howling when I force it to remember...
