Ok, this is too funny
Remember Cody Ransom?
"Aside from Betemit and A-Rod, there’s not another person on the Yankees’ active roster who can play shortstop. They could call up rookie Alberto Gonzalez, who is on the team’s 40-man roster, or Cody Ransom, who would require a roster move but bring more experience. Or, of course, they could put A-Rod at short and use Morgan Ensberg, a natural third baseman, to fill in."
Now that would be hilarious to see him starting at SS for the Yanks.

It could be possible, I read somewhere that he was impressing the Yankees in ST.

Don't laugh
He'd probably be an average hitter on the Giants.
Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue...
If they don't put A-Rod back at short, you gotta wonder what's up.
No, really, I have updated my blog this year: http://skaldheim.livejournal.com/tag/baseball
oh man
wouldn't it be awesome to see A-rod play SS better than Jeter ever has. It'd be brilliant.
That's what i never got about Yankees fans calling A-Rod selfish. He moved off his natural position because an inferior player was entrenched in it. he then put on more muscle mass and worked on his power game so he could maximize his production at his new position. Yankees fans are the absolute dumbest sacks of shit around.
/end rant.
i heard Jeters tears cure cancer.
I sure wish that Ort Cloud would form a solid sphere to enter into this team's orbit.

Remember
It was Ransom who had to give up his jersey so Billy Crystal could take his hacks in that spring training game.
Adoptive papa to Omar...so basically I'm screwed.
Remember Cody Ransom turning a double play into an error, leading to Wayne Franklin (who also caught on with the Yankees for a time) to give up a season ending grand slam to Steve Finley? Just thought I'd add even more pain to this lousy season.
