What the hell!?!
I know the Giants have started poorly in 2008, but there is no reason to act as somebody did on the last out of the game today. On the flyball to left, Hairston was about to catch the ball when just behind him and in front of Edmonds, another ball drops to the ground. What the hell is the matter with that fan? This was a class-less act by who ever threw the ball.

Shameful
Nice, as if the team we have to watch isn't embarassing enough, now some jackhole behaves like that. What next, fucking beachballs in the bleachers like Dodger fans?

I like it when guys like that are pitched into
the cove by other fans...while wearing a Rick Astley cement filled trenchcoat

And I just remembered...
padres: same team whose fans threw the syringe at Bonds.

Act of Dumb.
He is Vengeance. He is the Knight. He is Dave Righetti. PRAY TO HIM!

It's also
incredibly chickens*** to pull a prank like that on the last out, since whomever did it obviously must have known they'd be tossed out of the game.
Eagerly awaiting Crazy Crab Bobblehead Night on 7/18.

Only Cain has the right to throw at Hairston.
Agree with all, the stunt was full of jackassy worthlessness.

Sorry
I really don't know what came over me. I was frustrated, had a few beers, I had a ball and, well, I'am sorry.

That was a really really stupid thing to do. As if I needed something else to be embarassed about today while being associated with the Giants.

You hit it on the nail
We were at the park and it was party time. Opening day -sure, but with the team as bad as it is, a lot of peeps at the games will be there to drink, party and just be general knuckleheads.

Classless?
Yes. But neccessary? ...No... I will say, though, that regardless of how disrespectful and unsportsman-like (even for a fan) it was to the Padres and even to us, Scott Hairston's face was quite priceless. It started as a 'wait a minute...if the ball is here in my hand...but its also on the ground...then...huh?' to 'HEY WAIT A MINUTE!!!!' to 'c'mon brah...what the hell?' If anybody else was playing left field, I'd be pretty thoroughly disgusted. But since it's Hairston, I'm more disappointed to a minor extent. It makes us Giants fans look bad, even if probably nobody besides Pad's and Giants fans saw it. I blame Peter Magowan!

Funny thing is if that happened to the Giants LF you know our guy would catch the wrong ball.
