Well..not a big surprise.
Wasn’t he suspended before as well? It’s a shame though too, Notgardo was someone to root for, but I’d just like to see him released now.

I think that was Grod. What is up with our minor league veteran backup catchers?

That might explain his 50 million HR’s in the winter league.
lol.

It also may explain why...
he didn’t make the 40 man roster. With the brass trying to avoid any penalty for past knowledge and all.

Hey, Andy
How’s the media buying business these days? Are advertisers cutting back?

Eh, ups and downs....
smaller advertisers are pausing things, but the bigger ones are still spending. I’m unsure if the full effects of our recession/slump/whatever have been felt yet.

That's about what I would have guessed
Local TV stations are hurting (unless they’re getting lots of politcal ads), and the cost of gas for the live vans is killing the News Dept. budgets.

Oh, christ.
Still watching out for Notgardo in Fresno. Hope you make it back up soon. We miss you 'round The City way. How come you never call?

Notgardo, Notgardo, Notgardo.
Look what you’ve done to your poor adoptive ma. You bring shame on your family.
I’m very disappointed in this. I always like Alfonzo and his runaway-beer-truck baserunning. But I agree with Walrus Man, they should cut him now.
More playing time for Todd Jennings? Or are they gonna bump some guys upstairs?

And Rojas to CT?
Looks like they’ve added him to the roster. Given that Rojas had an OPS of .226 with Augusta, I assume he’s a pure backup for the Defenders. Buller wasn’t exactly tearing up AA either (.613 OPS).
I guess Witter and Sandoval are not going to be moving up just yet. Oh well.

From the Merc
The timing couldn’t be worse for the Giants. Catcher Bengie Molina didn’t play for the third time in five games because of an upper left quad strain. Manager Bruce Bochy said an MRI exam did not reveal additional problems. If the Giants must place Molina on the disabled list, they are in a tough spot. In addition to Alfonzo’s suspension, catcher Guillermo Rodriguez is out with post-concussion symptoms.

sounds like he will have some time on his hands so we may see him partying with some of Clemens dollies

Hey now
My kid might take drugs, but he wouldn’t cheat with any of Clemens’ sloppy seconds.
Notgardo, I still love you -- but you're grounded. No Guitar Hero for a month, no Cheez-Its for two months, and NO BASEBALL! This hurts me as much as it hurts you.

Errr
Beg to differ.
I will absolutely not touch Clemens’s used goods if I can at all help it.
