Giants / Dodgers Photos - Day 3 (Giants Win! Edition)
The Giants finally squeak out a win in LA. Does anyone else think that if this team had any semblance of an offense and a vaguely competent defense (seriously, how long will we have to put up with Aurilia and Durham on the right side of the infield???), they'd be serious playoff contenders? The pitching this week - Zito included; aside from the first inning blemish, his start was fairly solid - has been outstanding. Hopefully our fourth and fifth starters will continue the trend.
Since I didn't have to pay for the ticket yesterday, I splurged and bought myself a great seat near the Giants' dugout. I've posted the pics again, this time at the link below:

Enjoy! I'll be back with more pics from Opening Day in SF on Monday evening.

You keep posting those pictures on facebook, which I can't visit at work. I'll have to try to remember once I get home. Thanks!

Great seats, great pics
It is truly amazing what a low percentage of the time the people who buy tickets to Dodgers game (last night's announced attendance was around 43,000) are actually ever in their seats, if they show up at all. I know there are no-shows at The Big Phone as well, but nothing on the scale of Chavez Ravine.
Eagerly awaiting Crazy Crab Bobblehead Night on 7/18.

Thanks for sharing your photos!
And yeah, I couldn't believe how many empty seats you can see even in the opening day photos.
2008: My previous assessment may have been overly optimistic.
