I kinda just pulled a random year out of my ass…

Lewis’ 08 (so far) matches up pretty nicely with ‘88 Bonds, though I doubt Lewis is going to hit 25 home runs any time soon.

Unrelated note – jesus, Bonds broke .450 OBP as early as ‘92. That’s nuts.

Of the time I saw tiny A’s pitcher Shane Komine brush back Troy Glaus. Glaus was flat on his back, and a loud A’s fan right near us (we were right over the Blue Jays visitor dugout) yells, “BRUSHED BACK BY THE LITTLE GUY!”
