Tonight is the night
Those of you who read about tk's Awful Medical Saga of Winter '07-'08 will remember that I said one way my dad helped me get through it was promising me a baseball game when I was better.
Well, I'm not entirely better, but I am going to a baseball game! My dad, my husband and I will be there tonight in section 221, row H. We are going to eat garlic fries and strawberry shortcake like I was dreaming about back in January. And it's gorgeous weather! It's all good.
For those who wanted a medical update I'm going in for tests May 2 to see if I can get reconnection surgery, but I probably won't get it since the Crohn's is kind of in a permanent flare-up. It'll be interesting to see what they can spot though. Meanwhile I am definitely on the mend, walking a ton with our new dog (PETS POST SOON PLS! he is a total LOLdog!), and of course listening to baseball every day.
Thanks for the thoughts and if you happen to be in AAA tonight come by and say hey! Look for a tall dad-type guy, a distinguished ponytailed man, and a lady with pigtails and a FLEMMING hoodie on.

Congrats tk.
I’d love to get out to a ballgame again. Probably not until the college Northwoods League starts up I’ll get to one.

i’ll be at the game too, tho, and will try and sneak on over to where y’all are and say hey. :-)

tk,
I was only a lurker when you wrote your diary concerning your medical saga, but now that I have a username, I would like to express my best wishes to you for an ongoing successful recovery. I’m glad to see that you’re finally going to the baseball game you were promised and hope you have a great time tonight. Congratulations!
Humm Baby, tk!!!

Glad you're feeling better
Hope you enjoyed being back at the park. They rallied (almost) all the way back tonight, in your honor. They’re the perfect team for you, tk—they don’t quit.
Eagerly awaiting Crazy Crab Bobblehead Night on 7/18.
Sorry that Griffey didn't go deep on your birthday
but at least you were treated to an SF almost-win. Hope you stayed for the late rally.
Derin McMains had five fingers, but he only used three.
The weather definitely smiled upon you TK!!
Super warm weather makes a completely average night at Pac Bell magical. It brings back memories of Livan shoving the bats up the Braves asses in Game 4 of the 2002 Divisional Series. Game ending temp was 82!! Great times.

I think in Middle English they spelt it Grate Tymees.
They didn't.
They just put black X’s on his doors, and stayed out the neighborhood.
It was gorgeous weather and I got to see the Baron and a ninth-inning rally, and also the garlic fries! Thanks for the good wishes, all. 10-9 is better than 10-5.
Still watching out for Notgardo in Fresno. Hope you make it back up soon. We miss you 'round The City way. How come you never call?
Don’t forget Freddy’s splash hit! I called that one. :D It’s also great to see you, your dad, and the J-Dizzle out at the old yard again.

Wishing you all the best...
and hope you had a good time at the game. So glad you got to see the ninth inning rally and another strong performance by Fred Lewis. May all go well for you in your recovery.
