Now that it's April 2nd

What lame joke did you fall for on April Fools day?

I was being really careful today. It started early at NinersNation with a ridiculous Jason Taylor rumor that had me going for just a few seconds, but I avoided the embarrassment because it was just too ridiculous to believe. Then there was Grant's shennanigan, which was really clever in that "is he or isn't he?" sort of way. Since I'd just been to NinersNation, though, I came to this site armed against April Fools jokes and didn't let myself get taken in.

And then for the rest of the day I was pretty much able to avoid everything. I was out in the City in the middle of the day. I jogged for an hour in the evening. I played Advance Wars 2 and watched sitcoms on TV. No April Fools jokes trying to jump out at me in any of those things.

But, alas, I was eventually taken in by two lame jokes. That whole middle of the day period dulled my senses. I was no longer prepared. That's why when the Giants took the lead in last night's game, I was all like "OMG they might win!" Then the Giants were all like "APRIL FOOLS!" and I was all like "You got me, guys, that was a good one." Except it wasn't a good one. It sucked. Couldn't they have fallen behind so I'd be like "crap they're going to lose" and then they win and be like "APRIL FOOLS you thought we were going to lose!"? That would have been better.

And then there was this. For some reason I faked a memory of having heard that this was being made, so when the trailer was "announced" I was all like "Man, I gotsta see this." And then I was like "This looks cheesy, but whatever." Then my girlfriend told me it was a total joke and I was all like "Dangit! Foiled again!" Then the end of the trailer played and it became really, really obvious. You know, as opposed to plain old really obvious. I was taken in. It was an extremely elaborate joke, but it was an obvious one nonetheless, and I was taken in. I admit it.

What about you? Or, alternate: What's the best April Fools joke you've seen?
