Predict the 2011 Lineup & Rotation

I'm enough of a nerd that I often start thinking of the next year before the All-Star Break. This year, as miserable as things are, that tendency has gone into hyperdrive. And since most of our prospects are down at Single-A, I've been looking ahead a few years. By 2011, a lot of those prospects should be getting a look at the Major League level. Of course, looking so far ahead is hugely speculative and will necessarily be wrong because you can't predict drafts or trades, but hey, it's fun.

In coming up with my lineup and rotation, I'm making a couple of assumptions - that not a lot of big free agents will be signed, and that the current long-term contracts (Zito, Rowand) won't be moved. I'm only including one free agent signing here - that's Hank Blalock. That's total speculation, but I put him in for a few reasons. The Giants don't seem to have any compelling prospects at third base now that Villalona's moved across the diamond. The team will likely be looking to upgrade on Castillo in the offseason, Blalock is a free agent, he's not as cruddy as some of the other free agent third basemen, and he seems like the sort of player Sabean would go for.

So, here we go:

Rotation:

1) Tim Lincecum RHP

2) Matt Cain RHP

3) Barry Zito LHP

4) Tim Alderson RHP

5) Madison Bumgarner LHP

Lineup:

1) Eugenio Velez 2B

2) Wendell Fairley LF

3) Aaron Rowand CF

4) Angel Villalona 1B

5) Nate Schierholtz RF

6) Hank Blalock 3B

7) Nick Noonan SS

8) Jackson Williams

Closer is an interesting question too, as the Giants will have several candidates by that point - Brian Wilson, Merkin Valdez, Henry Sosa, Alderson, Sergio Romo...

I'm not an expert on the farm system by any means - I've read the the top prospects lists, seen discussion here and elsewhere, but that's about it. So I'm sure I'm hilariously wrong about half of this - but I want y'all to tell me why!
