...to 7th. That’s a pretty small advantage, though it might make the difference between being able to use Hennessey for 2 innings vs bringing in another reliever.

I’m only following the game in passing, since I’m busy-ish with work, but I was flabbergasted enough with the Durham-Velez switch that I was wondering how helpful moving the pitcher back two spots in the lineup would be, really. The results….not very.

I was a fan of Aurilia, and glad to see him back.
I’ve always liked Durham, who only 2 years ago posted career numbers.
But man, they both look like they are running on fumes. Just…nothing left there.

You know Sabean is trying to move some of the vets and is willing to eat some money. He hopes he doesn’t have to eat the entire contract of each vet he is attempting to deal.
