SA Jack is putting up good numbers this spring. Does he get a spot in the pen? Is this the year he finally gets it together? I'd rather see him and Threets than ol' man Kline, especially since he lost the 40 lbs.

I like

I'm not huge on Erick Threets, but I would indeed keep him over Steve Kline. My two favorite lefty relievers are Jack Taschner and Patrick Misch.

Does spring training mean anything?? If it does, you have to keep Taschner. I was hoping he wouldn't make the team after how poorly he pitched last year, but he's always had excellent stuff and he's had an excellent spring. It's tough for him because he's up against one pitcher with no options and another with a guaranteed contract, but he deserves to make the team, and the Giants will be making a mistake if he doesn't.
