Arrest warrant issued for Spiezio

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3267428

Six charges in all.  I believe "General Peckerheadedness" is one of them.

Totally
This is obviously a case of discrimination against People with Stupid Facial Hair.

Someone notify the National Association for the Advancement of People with Stupid Facial Hair.

Bochy: grounded until he stops hitting and running with slow runners and crappy hitters

He also murdered many hopes and dreams
Clearly, he's a poster boy for the death penalty.
At least it's baseball season.

Re: He also murdered many hopes and dreams
I certainly hope that was one of the six charges.

Re: Arrest warrant issued for Spiezio
Spiezio was devastated by the death of Cardinals pitcher Josh Hancock, who was legally intoxicated when he crashed into the back of a flatbed truck last April.

Spiezio said the situation might have pushed him deeper into dependency.

Oh yeah. I can totally see how your friend's substance abuse, resulting in his horrifying death would make your own substance abuse even more appealing.  Makes perfect sense.

Re: Arrest warrant issued for Spiezio
Err, if he truly has a substance abuse problem (and it sure looks like he truly has a substance abuse problem), "makes perfect sense," should probably stop entering into the conversation at all.  Drug addiction (as opposed to recreational use) ends up being much less about hedonism and a pleasuring of the self, and much more about anesthetizing, forgetting, and an obliteration of the self.  While my sympathy for rich people with drug problems is limited, grief over the death of a friend and scared about it happening to you is actually, in the twisted logic of substance abuse, a very good reason to use ever more heavily.

Doesn't change the fact that Spiezio's a dorkus phenorkus.  But at least he's an honest dorkus phenorkus.

Re: Arrest warrant issued for Spiezio
You know, I was thinking somewhat along the same lines.  Until I realized that being part of a rally to prevent my favorite baseball team from winning the world series hardly made getting arrested something I should feel satisfaction about.
Only 972 games until the end of Zito's contract.

Well, then, don't.  Like I said, I was thinking somewhat along the same lines when I first heard too.

Yeah, but what about CF?
Why isn't Sabean held accountable for leading the Giants into many years of mediocrity???

That's it
My new nom de plume: General Peckerheadedness

Everyone will think it's someone famous writing.

There are not enough characters to say what happened here. I'm lucky to be here and looking forward to Giants baseball ... that's all I can say.
