interesting stuff
Bumgarner’s finish seems a bit abrupt, to my eye anyway, but not too bad.
Less arm, more talk. Raisingcain is a GAMER.
Adopted Giant: Henry Sosa
oh
I see he mentioned that.
Also, nice to hear Alderson’s made some mechanical improvements. But does he still pitch exclusively from the stretch, I thought he changed that.

Alderson
I did not realize that Alderson threw from the top so much. They mention that his bottom half moves a lot as well which you can see in the video. But he looks rather fluid and solid.

I’m disappointed he didn’t have a video for AnVil. Maybe he’ll find one soon.

re:
baetown, first let me say I am extremely grateful for the link as it is much appreciated.
As for video, I do have video on Villalona, but time restraints prevent me from adding video to each player. There are a couple decent shots of Villalona on YouTube if you’re interested.

I thought this was going to be a ranking of the top prospects in the Giants organization and a ranking of the top mechanics in the organization. I hear the guy that runs the Jiffy Lube near Chuckchansi Park (I shit you not, that is what it is actually called) in Fresno is pretty good.

80’s are supposed to be once-in-a-lifetime sorts of talents/tools/whatevers.

what the hell is “scap loading”?
i adopt brian sabean... take that dramatic irony!

scap loading...
is the loading of the shoulder (or loading of the scapula). The pitcher is pinching the shoulder blades together. The shoulder is loaded (muscles are stretched) horizontally and subsequently unloaded. It transmits power from the torso to the shoulder and the result is a whip-like arm action. It’s a major component of velocity and it has to be done efficiently to work. I hope I explained it OK.
If you’re interested, I talk more about scapula loading in this Clayton Kershaw article

If you go over to ProSportsDaily.com
and go into the giants forum, the author of this actually wrote in and from what i remember was explaining why his order, and rating where the way they were.
