OT: Online gaming aliases

I just got an Xbox 360 and set up a gamertag. I should have Left 4 Dead and Xbox Live Gold soon after I clear up some weird Amazon snafus. In the meantime, I've been collecting my friends' gamertags. I know there are some other Live folks out there with whom i wanted to play, so post yer aliases here. Feel free to post ones for other platforms too (i.e. Friend Codes for Wii/DS, Steam IDs). Pure awesome. Not a whole lot og campaigns, but if you can get a lot of fun out of the versus mode also.

I don’t have it yet, but my friends have enjoyed playing it.

There amass been plenty of articles written this spring about the stud shortstop Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum , as well as the fluid young outfielders and thirteen basemen Kevin Frandsen.

Be sure to setup your gamertag before getting deep into any games. I didn’t realize that offline and online profiles are completely separate, so I had to start all over with my save files for all of the games I played. Fortunately, I didn’t play all that much yet.

Hmmmm…Just double checked and my gamertag is chilibean33. The only thing I’ve been playing since getting it a few days back has been Fallout and I’ve wasted far too much time on it to want to start over.

I’m hoping to get one after Christmas

The Denker bus is now bound for San Diego. Those who were passengers on it are now angrily stranded at a gas station in Modesto, CA. Not much about baseball here .

I'll probably be picking up a Wii first..

But I’d like the 360 more. I have a game for the Wii though, so buy that first.

it's pretty fun

but if you’re a FPS type of gamer, the Wii will probably disappoint with the current selection of games. It’s a cute little system with a few good games (wii sports, mario kart, mario strikers), but the games that utilize the motion controls have been pretty gimmiky thus far. hopefully Conduit will change this. i’m also looking forward to the new punchout.

XBox Live id: waitingforboof

Yeah, super dorky, but it was all I could think of. The only thing I play online right now is Call of Duty 4, which is my first online FPS, so I’m kind of sucky. I also have Civilization Revolution, but those online games are too frustrating. If you start winning, everyone leaves.

Actually, I haven’t played COD4 for more than an hour in the past two months. I wonder what happened at the end of October that cut my video game time by 5,000%? I’ll have to look into it.

Would anyone be up for an online league in MLB 2k9 when it comes out? Historically the game hasn’t been all that great but it’s the only baseball game you can get on the 360. Any takers?
