I thought it would be fun to share any Giants-related Christmas gifts that we all received. I got a really cool picture that shows the progression of the Giants jersey through the history of the organization:

Feel free to share anything Giants that you've received in past years as well. A couple years ago, I received season tickets. That was probably the best gift I have ever received.

I got an orange Giants polo shirt and grey t-shirt. Goofus Jr. got a sweatshirt.

We adopted a couple of disadvantaged families in my office. A six-year-old boy was a Giants fan, so I got him all kinds of giants crap.

Still-proud, adoptive mama of Notgardo Alfonzo, who's back from the 50-game purgatory. He promises never to do it again. I couldn't get him to promise to hit, though. We're working on that with bribes of M&Ms, kind of like potty training.

under my new “don’t get stuck with players that won’t be here for long” policy, I’ve gotten a Tim Lincecum jersey and a Pablo Sandoval t-shirt this year. Even my Matt Cain t shirt was rendered useless when he changed his number when Moises Alou left. (and I don’t need to tell you what good my Moises Alou t shirt is. It’s in the back of the closet next to Edgardo Alfonzo.

No Giants stuff for me. Since my birthday is usually around opening day – that’s when I get my Giants presents. Last year it was tickets to opening day, and closing day. I have indicated that such a gift would be acceptable again.

A few years back, a friend from Boston sent me an oversized Giants nightshirt. That sucker keeps me warm during the winter nights.
