Where's the humanity?
No good deed should go unnoticed. As often as I rag the fella he does some great community/foundation things.

Zito could really help things by...
Only accepting the money his performance dictates and donating the rest to charity. It would explain a lot more….
Ok, that was too mean. I really should do nothing but support Zito, because the Giants fate is tied into his performance by a large degree

He’s very charitable on the mound too.

I think my New years Resolution will be not to hate Zito so much next year.
Keep up the good work Zito, on (and more importantly) off the mound

NOW Finally there is a good cause to spend your money on. Not some stat geek who runs a website as a hobby.

why does he have to make it so hard for me to hate him?! Naw, thats good stuff and his Strikeouts for Troops is one of the best athlete created charities around.

Strikeouts for troops is a good cause, though there is a major problem with the format, Zito doesn’t strikeout batters. If he were to change it to “losing games for troops” then it would be right up Zito’s alley.

You can hate a person and still appreciate the things they do.
