This isn't even really a post about wanting him, so much as I'm curious what other people think his value would be on the FA market right now. He hasn't thrown 200 Innings since his sterling year back in 2004, when he had 237 IP and 264 K's with a 2.70 ERA playing for a terrible Brewers team.

Last year he was pretty close to 200 IP with 198 1/3, but like in 2005-2007 he missed time with various injuries.

Does anybody think it would be a good idea to try to sign him? The few figures I've found is a 2 year deal to the Yanks for like 28 mill, and Texas is interested in him right now too, the Rangers cleared him medically. IF (big if, yes) he can stay healthy he could end up being a relative bargain in a 2 or 3 year deal for someone.
