Trent Kline: Decentish. Also, my website is called ChatterBalks Dot Com. It's not being updated right now. Hope for more at your own risk.

i feel like every offseason there are tons of rumors about white sox players in particular being traded, and few of those trades ever actually go down.

Idolizing Robb Nen since 2002...

Depending on length of contract I would be ok with this. Tends to hit LHP a bit better then RHP ( 3 out of the last 4 years). He could be used to soak up a lot of innings at Third or as the back plann for the midle infield spots. A Branyan/Uribe in a competition /platoon for third anyone?

I still don’t get why MLB Trade Rumors — basically a link dump with 1% added author speculation — gets such little respect from some of the grumpy old men of the baseball blog world when sites like this are around. Two days ago, they wrote:

The Giants and Tigers are among eight other clubs that have expressed interest in Furcal, who has missed one-third of the club’s games since he signed three years ago

Wow, that’s interesting…if you actually had a source other than the sparrow living in your butt.

An industry insider (butt sparrow) just told me the Giants are interested in Roger Clemens!

If we wanted this kind of hitter, why wouldn’t we have just kept Pedro Feliz? Not interested in Uribe in the least.
