Another Lincecum analysis
Another 'did you hear Tim Lincecum is good?' analysis. This one from Josh Kalk over at The Hardball Times.
His pitch movement amazes me every time I see it.

One interesting thing
In the article linked to (where it says gushed about lincecum) it says he throws the curve mostly to lefties and the change to righties. I don’t know if this is true or if it’s a typo, since I thought it was the other way around, which this article seems to support.
I do love those graphs that show the pitch movement from the side, though. Man, Timmy’s changeup must be absolutely impossible to pick up.
