Around SBN: NHL Trade Rumors: Do You Make A Move For Rick Nash?

I am glad that Tim is ready to think about some security. Although this announcement coming right after winning the CYA is no coincidence. Obviously, his arb years are going to be way more expensive to buy out than Cain.

What would be your offer?

whatever he wants

I’d give him naming rights to the stadium if he wants. At this point, money is no object when it comes to keeping Tim Lincecum a Giant the rest of his career.

STEVE HOLM! refuses to be the odd man out.

The AL ROY contract

09:$0.55M, 10:$0.95M, 11:$2M, 12:$4.5M, 13:$6M, 14:$7.5M club option ($3M buyout), 15:$11M club option, 16:$11.5M club option

Castillo got the DFA. Guestimate for Castillo DFA to come before the 2009 season = 2.

actually, from the Giants’ perspective, how about Cy Young Vote incentives? Tim should be young and cocky enough to believe he’ll stay in the votes, and the organization should be happy to pay him for CY years.

If I’m Tim’s agent, I want to protect his arm longterm. Big Money for IP over 220, and can you charge for number of Games with pitch counts over 140, or total pitches thrown in a year?

i dont not believe they can put in such specifics as # of pitches, but they sure can give him bonuses for IP

What makes you think he’d want Bengie Molina?

There amass been plenty of articles written this spring about the stud shortstop Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum , as well as the fluid young outfielders and thirteen basemen Kevin Frandsen.

It's a wonderful contract

You…you want the moon, Timmy? Just say the word and I’ll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That’s a pretty good idea. I’ll give you the moon, Timmy .That, or $126 Million.

should be "and" not "or"

but I’m somewhat biased on what he should have….anything he wants.
