Lincecum has a roommate?
"Lincecum said he was on his couch watching NFL highlights with his roommate when he got the news."
the above is from MSN's sports link.
ok, what the hell is the NL Cy Young Award winner doing with a roommate? can we get this guy a fat contract now so he can stop eating Top Ramen, Triskets and drinking orange juice out of the little packages with the bendy straws? does he have the beat up couch, lava lamp and milk crates too? i mean i got the hole superbad scene in my head when the Unibomber opens the door and there is a layer of pot smoke and Timmy eating holding a bag of Doritos while his roommate is on the couch playing Grand Theft Auto or Guitar Hero.
i mean i love Timmy as much as anyone, but unless he's got the Three's Company thing working, i am a little concerned. maybe Zito can let one of his hottie girlfriends move in with Timmy and kick McLovin to the curb.

Many baseball players have roommates unless they’re superstars making tons of cash. Noah Lowry and Dan Haren roomed with each other when Haren was still with the A’s.

Timmy's on record as saying Gradma's Boy is his favorite movie
So maybe he’s living with his grams. Also, I had no idea that he Filipino family heritage…very cool, though I laughed when it took him about a minute to remember the name of Espinelli during the press conference.

Favorite movie is Grandma’s Boy… has trouble remembering people’s names… If Timmy starts entering games to the tunes of Night Ranger then we’ll have all the evidence we need…

Hey, back when I was 24 and lived in Noe Valley, I had TWO roommates. Of course, I wasn’t making $405,000 a year, but to each his own.

I saw McLovin on an interview talking about how he still lives with his parents. Pretty funny stuff. And your post cracked me up too. Well done!

He lives in one of those condos near the ballpark…the person i usually sit next to at the games lives in the same complex…When the Giants gave him that rookie bonus he went out and bought a Lambo right away…he probably spends more time in his Lambo than in his condo

Don't know about the Lambo...
but when he got his signing bonus he picked up a new SUV (can’t remember but it was an Envoy or something) and while playing beer pong in my garage they killed the battery while playing the stereo.

Talk to his agents. They’ve said publicly they want him to go year-to-year through arbitration b/c they think he’ll make more money.

This is a little off subject here but I met Lincecum at a bar a couple weeks back. My future brother in law works with a girl he is dating so they met up with a bunch of us at Kell’s in North Beach one night.
I told him that it is a pleasure to watch him pitch and that I hope he will play for the Giants his whole career. He said that he hopes so too! What else could he say though.
