The Majors' Top Closers
Posnanski rates MLB's top closers using the new Bill James Handbook as a guide.
Interesting piece with the usual suspects -- Rivera, Lidge, Papelbon -- cementing their status using "atypical" stats; scroll to the second page and you'll see our own Brian Wilson is rated sixth, behind the aforementioned three plus Soria and the Rangers' CJ Wilson.
I've got to pick up the Bill James Handbook this year, sounds like a fun read. The breakdown of the top "baserunners" looked pretty interesting too.

Well well well look at #7. Joe Nathan.
Also, I see K-rod is ninth.
