And the award goes to…
The guys at Statistically Speaking asked a bunch of Sabermetricians from around the blogosphere to submit their ballots for the six major awards. The results:
NL MVP: Albert Pujols.
NL CYA: Tim Lincecum.
NL ROY: Geovany Soto.
AL MVP: Joe Mauer/Grady Sizemore.
AL CYA: Cliff Lee.
AL ROY: Evan Longoria.

That all looks good, except there’s no way Sizemore wins MVP.
Trent Kline: Decentish. Also, my website is called ChatterBalks Dot Com. It's not being updated right now. Hope for more at your own risk.
agreed..
Sizemore batted .269…
and when u make the case for Ryan Howard in the AL, you include better HR and RBI nubmers
Sizemore should get more votes than Howard, but not likely. If he beats out Mauer, I will be annoyed.
Sizemore most likely will get more votes than Howard considering he’s in the AL and Howard is in the NL.
Not even close...

Mauer out-hit him and played a harder position.
..so allow me to present Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain as two sweet, sweet bottles of warming hooch.
But didn't play on a playoff team

So Pedroia should win over Mauer, because the Red Sox have better pitching than the Twins?

No, I didn’t say should. That is my prediction who WILL win. IN MVP voting, voters have been fickle about players on non-playoff teams.

Oh
I agree that he isn’t going to win – he was the best player in the league in 2006, and he didn’t even get a single 1st place vote. But he should win.
