Waldis Joaquin bounced back from a rough start to earn his first win of the HWB season. He was a little wild with a wild pitch and a balk in 3 1/3 innings pitched. Joaquin balked in the fourth inning to score Matt McBride. McBride singled to lead off the inning and he reached second base on Joaquin's wild pitch. Steve Edlefsen relieved his Giants teammate and got touched up for two runs.
Roger Kieschnick and Buster Posey continued their hot hitting against the Honu. Kieschnick homered in the second inning. The left fielder also earned an RBI the easy way, by walking with the bases loaded. Posey got another hit, though his team leading batting average dipped to .429. The Beach Boys scored four runs in yhe fourth inning against Jun Hyeok Heo, including that bases loaded walk to Kieschnick.
This series continues Tuesday with the Honu hosting the Beach Boys in Honolulu.

The Giants should send Brian Wilson to Hawaii for just one game so we could read the Wilson played for the Beach Boys.
