OT - Cheerwine

At long last, I tracked down some Cheerwine locally. I bought two bottles (one for me, one for the fella). There was a lady ahead of me at the register at BevMo buying a few bottles; in fact, the guy manning the wine tasting table in the back (yes, I stopped off there first. Don’t judge me!) told me that there’s a devoted local following, and the store goes through its supply pretty quickly.

At any rate – I enjoyed it very much. I agree with whoever said “like Dr. Pepper, but better.” It had a good flavor and the smoothness of real sugar.

Next time I’m at BevMo, I’ll be loading up some more.

So to whoever first brought it up – thanks for the suggestion!

Hmm before this season, Kotsay has had 28 games at 1B, mostly for the Marlins. Still weird though.

It would be pretty funny if the Red Sox actually lost this series.

Yes it would. It would still be gross because the Angels won, but I’d certainly bust out the ROFL iron.

LIke I said before I don’t mind if the Red Sox lose but beat the Angels so I don’t have to see those stupid thunder sticks again.

Yeah, I know they went something like 8-1 against the Sox.

But playing nearly 60 games against the Rangers, A’s, and Mariners helped pad their record.

Anaheim Angels

Angel management has many player decisions this winter. Gonna guess they re-sign Teixiera and let KRod walk. They also will want to add Wood to the mix at either SS or 3b

I know most of you we’re rooting against the Sox, but wasn’t it pretty satisfying to see Scioscia smallball himself out of the playoffs?

Seeing Mike Scioscia, John Lackey, and Garret Anderson FAIL was nice. There are still too many Angels from the 2002 around to actually root for this team.
