Waikiki rallied for four runs in the ninth inning but let the game slip away to the Honu. Buster Posey had a three hit game and 2 RBI. Posey's .500 batting average leads the team though the catcher has only 10 at bats, most among the three catchers on the team.
North Shore had the Beach Boys in a hole early, scoring three runs against starter Jeremy Bleich. The Beach Boys got on the board in the sixth inning thanks to two wild pitches. One scored Posey and the other allowed Todd Frazier to get to third base. Fraizer would score on a base hit.
Posey put the Beach Boys ahead with a two run single in the ninth inning. Another catcher made the difference in the game. Perhaps the Astros aren't the laughingstock of the draft. Jason Castro, Houston's top pick in June, had a monster game against the Beach Boys. He came up with the game-winning hit against Blake Parker. Castro's .438 average leads North Shore hitters.
The Beach Boys wrap up the series with the Honu today. After an off day Monday, Waikiki faces Honululu for a three game set beginning Tuesday.

no kidding, if Buster isn’t getting enough ABs as one of three catchers, move him around the diamond. SS, 3B, 1B. hell, let him play every position every game.
Castillo got the DFA. Guestimate for Castillo DFA to come before the 2009 season = 2.

Bustin out a political reference
Castro seems to be calling shots on the north shore.
And all this time I thought Raul was running the government.

They named a street after me!
…it’s full of what?!
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.
