Almost every fans has their superstitions when it comes to sports, right? One of mine is betting on your team, I did that once, just once. In 1993. You can see where that led. But good luck to this fellow.

I put $25 on the Giants to win the 2000 World Series, and $75 on them to win the pennant. I don’t remember the odds, but I would have cleared about $1000.

i made some cash already
i put a $5 drunken bet last december in vegas that the rays would make the series… it was 75-1, but $380 ain’t too bad. and of course i’m putting $25 on the giants to take it all next year, because dammit i’m on a roll!
