I think the problem is that a lot of the time recently, they’re just taking the easy way out with every joke they make. This one is a great example.

There amass been plenty of articles written this spring about the stud shortstop Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum , as well as the fluid young outfielders and thirteen basemen Kevin Frandsen.

I don’t like that they just characterize Bonds as a ghettothug. I mean, if they’ve ever even heard him speak there’s a whole WORLD of characterizations that would be just as obvious and twice as funny. But no, ghettothug is too easy.
