OT: McCoven Wiffleball in the city - date ideas?
I know we have tried to get baseball in the park together a couple of times to no avail, but today at lunch I had a similar idea. Wiffleball... since it requires fewer people, it just might work.
Personally I'd love for it to be a weekday lunch time thing if possible. I think playing wiffleball at lunch on a friday would be a great way to end the work week, but I realize that it is probably more realistic some other time.
If there is any interest, we can start hammering out the details.
It's funny, I probably should check my own schedule before proposing dates for this thing. I'll be working the Web 2.0 Summit in the city from the 5-7 so that doesn't work for me either.
It seems like any other Friday works for me though. Those of you who have tighter schedules, is there a day that works best for you?

As long as this goes down while I’m unemployed, I’m in.

It’s a shame AT&T isn’t like PETCO, which has a FANTASTIC wiffle ball field in CF open to the public on non-game days

Damn geography
I love Wiffleball.
In Concord circa 1973 (live ball era) I once struck out 20 batters in a game.
The 16th was a called strike three (It hit the garage door handle).
Trivial Fact: Every one of the batters was named Tim Byrd.

…and would be down to play. I’m still pissed the AN v McC softball game never panned out last year (thanks for trying though Baron).
Thank God that's over.

I think my email is in my profile. Someone alert me when this is going down.

Who could make it?
If we were to try this on Friday, November 7 at 12:30pm (at the park suggested by Goofus). If we get enough people, maybe this can become a monthly or bi-weekly thing.

I expect either to still be drunk because of Obama win, or else figuring out how to leave Earth.
