I don’t like the non-travel day either, and I hate MLB for making me agree with Colin Cowherd.
As for the 2-3-2 setup, 2-2-1-1-1 would be up to 4 travel days, which, while ok if the giants and padres are playing, would kind of suck for series like this

What was funny about the Gibson shot is when they showed the ball going into the stands, right over the stadium you could see a lot of cars leaving the parking lot. They missed it.
