Look at some crowd shots...

Isn’t it child abuse to put a Dodgers hat on a child?

Oh well.

If his parents were Dodgers fans, what kind of life was he going to have anyway? You can’t save every child.

Matt Cain certainly won’t save them.

There amass been plenty of articles written this spring about the stud shortstop Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum , as well as the fluid young outfielders and thirteen basemen Kevin Frandsen.

When at the grocery earlier I saw a very attractive man, totally my type: dark hair, dark eyes, great behind, but then he turned around and I saw the LA on the front of his cap. I felt ill.

You meet the man of your dreams over the winter..

Then he asks you to the first Dodger game at ATT Park. You see no evidence of Dodgers in his life up until now, but when he picks you up he’s wearing a Dodgers hat, face painted with LA on the cheeks, and wearing a MARTIN jersey.

What do you do?

If ever wanted to get depressed

go back and look at previous baseball drafts, you’ll get depressed reading how the Giants could of had Andre Ethier but took some dude named Jeffery Jennings or took Joe Fontenot instead of Roy Halladay.

by SFGuy on Oct 12, 2008 8:16 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Looking at prior drafts..

Is meaningless. If a player is drafted 30th overall (or any time after that) then yea, every team could have gotten him. Pujols, Piazza, you can make an all-star team out of late draftees every year.

I just use it to look at players drafted within 5-7 picks after the Giants. Halladay was drafted immediately after the Giants took Fontenot.

Isn’t this the Dodgers’ first NLCS home game in like 20 years? And they’re leading in the 9th inning and all those asshat LA fans have left already.
