I’m not sure about that. I think it’s the other way around – you can only be outrighted once you’ve cleared waivers. From wiki:

Once a player is designated for assignment, the team has ten days to do one of the following things: the player can be traded, the player can be released, or the player can be put on waivers and, provided he clears, outrighted to the minors.

So all of these players have already cleared waivers, and aren’t going anywhere. Everybody come down! Or even better, be angry about Denker.
