Around SBN: Interview With UMD Athletic Director, Dr. Debbie Yow

Saw this first on FJM but it deserves to be ridiculed more.

John Heyman chooses:
1. FROD as his AL MVP, but he's listed third in his AL Cy Young "ballot." Both are ridiculous, of course.
2. Manny and CC are 1-2 in NL MVP.
3. Santana is his NL Cy Young over CC for "being in the NL all year," though above he cites that Manny and CC's big half seasons are the reasons they are his 1-2 in the MVP race. Oh yeah, Howard (3rd) and Pujols (5th!!!) had better seasons in a full year, which he mentions, but...
4. Brad Lidge is his #4 NL MVP and #3 NL Cy Young.

Timmy Lincecum gets only a passing mention, not even top three in the NL Cy Young.

Glad this joker doesn't get a vote.

This is sarchasm, right?

Ignoring his NL Cy Young ramblings (Lidge over Lincecum?), but FROD for AL MVP? He’s not even one of the top three closers in the AL.
Pujols FIFTH (!) in NL MVP? That’s just silly talk.

I find them more anger-inducing than laughable.

Mostly because he gets paid for that.

I wrote more useful words when I was taxed with writing marketable copy for a pallet company.

“Are you sick or your cheap pallets breaking under the weight of all that stuff you move with them? Boy, we know what that’s like! That’s why our pallets don’t break, and why you should by your pallets from us, where we sell high quality pallets.”

Sometimes my job is comical.

buy or by, you decdei!

I actually carefully proof-read stuff when I’m at work, too. That’s why I don’t do it in my free time. I’m sick of it!

Your pallets don’t break? Is that a challenge?

this so bad, even Al Davis is ashamed for him.

Adoptive Parent of Francisco Peguero. He can throw, he can run, he can hit(fastballs), and he's Dominican. What else do you need to know?

Ashamed for him? Al Davis just tried to fire him.

Well the article is entitled “MVP picks that may surprise you.”

Mr. Heyman, we are a little suprised and a little apalled.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I hate it when asshole sportswriters go out of their way to make unexpected picks for awards. Just choose the best player, stop worrying about the best “story” or bullshit like that.

Ugh

Please remove this link; if he gets more hits, he’ll think people actually read his utterly UTTERLY stupid and “controversial” (and laughably wrong) opinions. What a dick.
