Nice

I like Andrew Baggarly. he provides.

Mischievously implosive purple pitching staff.

You would think the Giants could put together a nicer looking graphic presentation.

Adopted Son: Brad Hennessey. Beloved for a stolen base much like Dave Roberts

Something like an overhead projection.

Uh…

“Lincecum is 17-5 this year…”

(later)

“The Giants are 16-5 in games started by Lincecum…”

You’re doing it wrong.

Might want to abuse you're moderation powers

Lincecum’s appearance and win was in a relief appearance.

Pst…Lincecum started more than 21 games this season.

pst

it’s obviously referring to decisions.

Psst

Hey, who let the air out of that tire?

There amass been plenty of articles written this spring about the stud shortstop Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum , as well as the fluid young outfielders and thirteen basemen Kevin Frandsen.

The Giants went 16-5 in games started by Lincecum is obviously not referring to decisions, not the way it’s written. It’s obviously pretending to be referring to decisions. But nothing about that sentence supports the idea.

Lincecum was 17-5 this year, though inaccurate, was obviously referring to decisions.

This is a joke, right? Because T-m was 18-5.

I hope the BBWAA WAH WAH WAH know that he won the 18th game, because that was quite a game.

I think...

… the press packet went out before his final start. I could be wrong though.

by sfgfan on Oct 2, 2008 9:40 AM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Actually, you’re both right. My main point was that Lincecum started more than 21 games, but I used the decision discrepancy to highlight the point, forgetting about LIncecum’s relief victory.

But I think we can all agree than an intern put this thing together before the final start of the season, for some reason.

Moderation in self-abuse is no virtue.

I’m just glad you didn’t post the cake with the woman giving birth on it.

"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Actually, I'm relieved

I was afraid it was going to be a picture of a woman literally giving birth directly onto a cake.

Why somebody would position a literal cake beneath a literal birthing, I don’t know. But I had the fear in me.

My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

Now that’s just a waste of perfectly good cake.
