Eric Brynes Available
Should the Giants and Brian Sabean consider this move? Brynes would be an awesome presence here in SF, he grew up here and everyone loves him. Although the injury bug has bitten him this season we will wait and see on how he will recover.

On a side note consider this as a trade option

This reminds me of maybe the dumbest of all the dumb Joe Morgan quotes:
[During the WBC game between Japan and Cuba]
“I think the one thing that fans should notice is the contrast in styles of these two ball clubs. I mean, the Cubans are real emotional, they play with a lot of fire, there’s a lot going on. When you watch, you know, Japan play, they’re calculating, they’re more scientific, everything is calculated to make it work. And that’s why you see so many players trying to bunt, you know, and taking pitches, and doing so many other little things. They do all the little things, it’s kind of a science-like, to them. And, I think, the Cuban players show a little more fire, play with a little more emotion”.
Dude, you know you’re on TV, right?

Ten years ago...
… some of the greatest bigotry smack was ever uttered.
In review:
Blacks are gifted in worship and celebration.
Whites are good at organization.
Hispanics were gifted in family structure, and can put 20-30 people in a home.
Asians are inventive and can turn a TV into a watch.
Indians are gifted in spirituality.
And don’t forget about homosexuality being a sin.
RIP, Reggie White. It’s not the sacks or the gridiron domination I’ll remember, it’s the fact I can turn a TV into a watch that I’ll never forget.

Hmm.
I might consider that trade if Fielder would consider pitching every five days to make up for the loss of Cain.
As for Byrnes: NEGATIVES: he plays a position the Giants have a lot of talent that is around the same level as Byrnes. Byrnes costs too much for what he gives to his team. Byrnes has horrible, goofy hair. Byrnes is annoying in most other ways as well.
POSITIVES: He falls down when he throws to the infield.
It appears that the negatives outweigh the positives, in this case.
Catcher are base running. Hitters are offense.
