You are a mid-20s ballplayer trying to resurrect his career. You used to be a pitcher, but you suffered a very public meltdown while pitching. While coming back from this public meltdown, you needed surgery on your pitching elbow, which caused you to miss an entire season. When you came back, you still couldn't throw a strike.

What do you do?

Give up. Take that job your uncle offered you at the video store. (Turn to page 23)
Try and make it as a hitter. (Turn to page 34)

Re: Page One
I'm not sure if I should be offended or not with that comparison.

And it isn't called "re-hashing"; it's "re-using a successful format."

Man, page 23 is the story of my life...

It sure is a drag being a once promising pitcher working in a video store who will eventually die of a longterm illness.

Re: Page One
Not wrong. Just an error in judgement. Some folks just dont understand waffle-iron bashing culture. Its not that much different than hunting paraplegics with machetes.

Can't we all just get along?
