I know this is petty. I know this is ridiculous. I know this is probably a waste of a diary. But my god. It's the last game of the season and Barry's last game as a Giant. You'd think they might anticipate a full house. You'd think they might realize a lot of people want to get one more serving of garlic fries before the long offseason. You'd think they would plan ahead.
We sat up in 330 tonight. About half the concessions stands were closed. It took about half an hour or more to get up to the front of the line. Then of course they were out of garlic fries and I had to wait for the next batch.
Who's running this damn operation anyway?
I think if Bonds had gotten a hit or the Giants hadn't looked so clueless out there, I might not be so mad. What a sad night.
