I adopted Omar and have nothing good to say about this team. Footy season has kicked off, so I don't watch the Giants much anymore.

Jose Mesa trying to kill Omar. Clint Hurdle. Matt Holliday yelling "Nice Pitch!" after he hit a bomb of Matty Cain.

The only other NL West team I hate more than the Bums are the Rox. I'm glad they swept the Dodgers, but I don't want them in the playoffs and I want Matt Holliday to just stop it already. No MVP in Colorado please.

If the standings don't change at the end of the season, it'll be only the second time since the Giants and Dodgers both moved west that they've finished last and second-to-last in their division/league.

Other time: 1992, when the Dodgers were last and we were second-to-last.

Really? They've always struck me as one of the more innocuous franchises in sports, not just baseball. I attended a game at Murphy once and found it to be filled with old people, college students, and military personnel. I seriously wondered if a single person at the game was born in SD County. Then again, that was a while ago. I've heard from more than a few posters that the atmosphere is a bit more intense now for whatever reason.

The team is comprised of annoying asshat jerks. The fanbase is comprised of annoying asshat jerks, who like to bray about Bonds this and Bonds that but turn a blind eye to their own players who likely used PEDs.

But, nice ballpark. Can't hold that against them.

I probably hate the Dbacks and Padres more than the Rockies because of the announcers. Sutton and Grace with the Dbacks and Vasgerian and Grant with the Padres make me want to put my fist through the TV. The Rockies guys are not obnoxious like that. I want to beat those teams more to shut those guys up.

I flip the Dbax and the Rox there only because of how disgusted I was at the Schilling/Johnson consolation World Series. And the general way that franchise is annoying just by existing.
