With G Rod as catcher for Lincecum's starts the young phenom has gotten shelled each time. Timmy has  done perfectly fine each time he has had Bengie behind the plate. Today in multiple two strike counts G Rod was set up for fastballs down the middle, which preceded to get hit hard, instead of throwing a changeup or curveball in the dirt or a letter high fastball. I don't know if they are calling this from the bench but it is sheer stupidity. With better catching Lincecum could've had a phenomenal day against this poor Pirates lineup but instead got shelled because of poor management.
