Some of you know I'm a newspaper journalist in real life. On the side I also write book reviews for an entertainment site in Southern California. I just reviewed The Soul of Baseball, Joe Posnanski's book about Buck O'Neil. Thought you might be interested in seeing the review.

I read The Soul of Baseball last week and thought it was absolutely awesome. JoePo was already my favorite sportswriter in the country, but this completely solidified it.
My mom doesn't like baseball very much, but she was reading it over my shoulder a little bit on the plane and she was really interested, so she read it after me. She was completely engrossed by it too.
Seriously, one of the best baseball books I've ever read. I highly recommend it to everyone.
